The ninth edition of the Slag om Grolle generated quite the buzz throughout the Netherlands. The amazing weather, numerous national and international visitors, and active participation from the local community turned it into an unforgettable occasion! Groenlo warmly welcomed approximately 42,500 visitors who were keen to travel back in time to the 17^th  century. 

The warm welcome is one of the reasons that Grolle is considered “the place to be” for reenactors. This would be impossible without the cooperation from all of the local community groups in the city center, volunteers, and sponsors. The organization is sincerely grateful for their support and dedication.
